10-Year Impact Award (2024): In December 2024, you, along with your colleagues from OFFIS and the University of Oldenburg, received the prestigious 10-Year Impact Award at the MUM Conference in Stockholm. This award honored your 2014 paper titled „WaterJewel: Design and Evaluation of a Bracelet to Promote a Better Drinking Behaviour,“ which has had a lasting influence on research in mobile and ubiquitous technologies. You accepted the award on behalf of the entire team.

Best Paper Award at TEI 2018: At the Twelfth International Conference on Tangible, Embedded, and Embodied Interaction (TEI 2018), your collaborative work titled „Beyond LED Status Lights – Design Requirements of Privacy Notices for Body-worn Cameras“ was honored with the Best Paper Award. This research delved into the design requirements for privacy notices in wearable technology.

Honorable Mention at CHI 2020: In 2020, your paper „Social Acceptability in HCI: A Survey of Methods, Measures, and Design Strategies“ received an Honorable Mention at the CHI Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems. This work provided a comprehensive survey of methods and design strategies in Human-Computer Interaction.
